Recycling Collection Specialist

WasteFree is looking for a reliable, self-motivated driver to join our recycling team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, doesn't mind the night shift, and takes pride in keeping communities clean and sustainable. You'll be behind the wheel of a U-Haul truck every Wednesday evening, servicing our recycling routes and ensuring materials are collected efficiently and on time.

Location: Dallas

Responsibilities

· Drive an assigned U-Haul truck along designated Wednesday night recycling routes

· Collect and load recyclable materials

· Verify and document all collection stops completed during the shift

· Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times

· Report any route issues, mechanical concerns, or missed stops to your supervisor

Qualifications

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

· Experience driving large vehicles or box trucks preferred (U-Haul, box truck, or equivalent)

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift

· Comfortable working outdoors at night in varying weather conditions

· Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

· Prior waste, recycling, or logistics experience is a plus — but not required
